Their shareholders gain when it's good? But when it gets this bad, instead of losing bad, the gov't is pulling US all in to share the burden???? Come on...isn't that a bit one-sided and socialist? If it will ripple through other industries, let it ripple -- the ends does not justify the means.

If, god forbid, they do get the handout, I want gov't to mandate they create x% hybrids and y% electric vehicles They want a fresh start...that's their fresh start.
